Yet another character. This one's actually rather vitally important to the Crackverse, if not incredibly major, so just sit tight, folks.
This is Dr. Noreen Newport (last name constantly pending, I'm never satisfied), medical researcher and inheriter of a medical research facility. Around the same time Firefly was turned into Phospherous, her facility was going bankrupt due to lack of funding. A distraught Freeze went to her and requested that she help make Firefly human again, and knowing the publicity she could get, she agreed. She actually ended up falling for Freeze at some point, making it all the more painful for her that she ended up healing Firefly only to have him and Freeze get together.
However, she became quite distracted by the fact when one of her employees, a bright-eyed researcher straight out of university, started putting a certain criminal robot back together within her facility during his spare time. When DAVE was turned back on, she immediately took it upon herself to make sure he didn't cause too much mayhem, so she threw him into her attic. He eventually chose to stay living there. They have this sort of love/hate relationship in that they depend on each other but that doesn't keep them from wanting to brutally mutilate each other sometimes.
She's also pretty good friends with Freeze and Firefly and on relatively good terms with the rest of the villains, since she uses her innumerable connections to get chemicals, machinery, and basically anything else they need...for a fee, of course (and she's always willing to accept her pay in diamonds, developing a fixation with them after getting to know Freeze. In this picture she's wearing diamond earrings and a diamond necklace).
Possible dialogue for this picture: "OK, where's the fucking duct tape?" "DAVE, what the Hell did you do this time?"
All your girls are so pretty. <: Ha, I like her story. A good little bit of conflict. And DAVE! 8D Everyone should include DAVE in their fandom somehow.
(He actually likes to pop out and totally scare the shit out of people that go over to her house. Hence why her house has now been labeled a civilian-free zone and the only other person she really ever has over there is an Arkham orderly who later becomes an Arkham director, and happens to be a friend and constant helper of the AwesomeTeam, Curtis.)
I need to draw Curtis. He happens to be Jess' favorite fancharacter in the Crackverse. He's this babyfaced 20-something who is really shy and totally nervous, completely unsuited to working at Arkham, and is actually supposed to be a nurse but occasionally pinch-hits when orderlies are in short supply. Also, he's a bit starry-eyed around the AwesomeTeam, Riddler especially, and he's pretty much the reason they escape so easily every time.
The reason he never gets fired despite constant questioning is because his full name is Curtis Tulley; he's the great-nephew of Argus Tulley, the guy who takes over Arkham post-Hugo Strange and pre-Jonathan Crane.

My excuse for TB!Saws working there as long as she did is TB Strange's fascination with crazy people. >>
